Our Philosophy:
We strive to find great investments in companies that are providing great sales and earnings growth. Then, we find options to sell against these companies, essentially letting others' appetites for risk pay us income for our stock. Sure, we miss out on the occasional home run, but we try to make a solid return month in and month out.
Essentially, we "rent" our stock out and collect the rent on it - just like we used to do when we played Monopoly.
Then, we ensure that we are in the right market by using our proprietary Genius Indicator which has proved to be right about the market trend more than 80% of the time. This is a probability game, so we try to line up the probabilities in our favor.
The overall philosopjy is simple: buy stock (or synthetic position) as our base; write options against it; create income of a few percent each week or each month; then do it over again.
Oh, and we don't always make money each week, but if a stock doesn't decline significantly, we can just continue to sell the call options against it, earning our income as we wait.
The tendency is to get greedy, to want more. Try to avoid this feeling. If you compound 2% each week, at the end of the year, you are way over 100% return. We are just shooting for 8% to be successful - that would be a good return compared to other investments in the recent past, right? So, anything over 8% is gravy. Let's hope we get there, but it IS the markets and the markets can be unpredictable. This is the best way that I have found to take uncertainty out of the market.
